Tell me about your dog

Let’s get a clear picture of what life is like now.

A considered, unhurried walk-through of your dog and what you'd like to change. The more you share, the sharper the snapshot you'll get at the end.

The basics

First — who's the dog?

Just the essentials so I know who we're talking about.

In your own words — pulling, barking, recall, anxiety, overexcitement, puppy chaos, anything. No perfect wording needed.

A clear face photo helps personalise the snapshot. If your dog joins the program, the photo can also carry through to their owner portal. You can skip this for now.

Life at home

What's your dog's day-to-day like?

Dogs often behave differently at home, on lead, around visitors, around dogs, or in busy places. This helps separate a training issue from an environment issue.

What makes them tick

What's your dog into?

Knowing what they love is half the job — it's what we train with.

This helps show whether rewards still work when the world gets distracting.
This is a useful read on engagement — whether your dog naturally reconnects with you or gets lost in the environment.
Handling comfort matters for grooming, vet care, equipment and safety.
Dogs need appropriate vaccination before in-person training. Unsure is fine for the intake — I’ll confirm before booking.
Sore hips, a healing injury, arthritis, anything that makes being handled uncomfortable.
If yes, it does not rule out training — I just need to know so we work within it.
Coughing, vomiting, diarrhoea, unusual lethargy, or nasal or eye discharge. This is a snapshot of today — you agree to tell me if it changes later.
A bit of background

What's already been done?

Previous training helps me understand what your dog already understands, what held up, and what fell apart in real life. It is not a pass/fail test.

How I can help

How can I help your dog?

Pick everything that fits, then give each a quick slide. These choices help decide which part of the program matters first — leash structure, recall, confidence, impulse control, arousal regulation or everyday obedience.

The finish line

What does a win look like for you?

Last few. This shapes what we'd aim for together.

A normal-life answer is perfect — calmer walks, safer visitors, less stress, more freedom, a dog you can trust.

A place in the program

If you’re interested in a place for your dog in the program, submit your contact details below. I’ll take a look and we can tee up a first consult free of charge.

Submitting the intake doesn’t lock you into anything, and it doesn’t guarantee a place. It simply gives me the information I need about your dog so we can make that first consult more productive.

No email wall. Your dog's full snapshot appears on screen the moment you finish. If you choose to submit your details, the intake is saved securely for review.

Dog training in Mandurah & the Peel region

K9 Dogalogue is a dog trainer based in Meadow Springs, working across Mandurah and the Peel region: Halls Head, Falcon, Erskine, Dudley Park, Greenfields, Lakelands, Wannanup and Coodanup. Sessions happen where the behaviour happens — in your home, on your street, at the park and the beach — not in a training hall.

Training runs through six certificates: puppy training and socialisation, obedience and everyday manners, loose-lead walking, reliable recall, and staying calm around other dogs, people and traffic. Every owner gets a portal that shows exactly what was worked in each session, what passed and what still needs proofing.

Start with the free assessment above. It takes five to ten minutes, gives you a snapshot of your dog before anyone asks for your details, and tells us where to begin. Or, before you start: How K9 Dogalogue dog training works and what we help with

Places are kept limited so every dog can be properly assessed, planned, trained, reported on and progressed.

Program investment is shown upfront so there are no surprises: $1,200 / month — four three-hour sessions, one place per dog. Continue and you’ll get your dog’s snapshot before being asked for contact details.
